Robert E. Moser

YORK- Robert E. Moser, 81, died on Friday, May 8, 2026 at UPMC Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Patricia Lucey Moser. The couple planned to celebrate their 49th wedding anniversary on September 10th.

Born on December 31, 1944 in York, he was the son of the late Robert C. Moser and Virginia (Connelly) Knezic. He was a 1963 graduate of William Penn Senior High School. Robert was a roofer for M. Potteiger, Inc. and Heidler Roofing.

Mr. Moser was a member of the Ninth Ward Republican Club where he enjoyed playing cards and the Girard Athletic Association. In his spare time, he loved hunting with his son, Ryan and being with his German Shorthaired Pointers.

Along with his wife, Patty, Robert is survived by his son, Ryan Moser and his wife, Kirby of York; daughter Susan P. Knaub and her husband, Troy of York; six grandchildren, Tyler, Jordan, Colin, Dustin, Hadley and Rowan; five great grandchildren, Chloe, Jarett, Myla, Carson, Beckham and Kali on the way. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Michael Knezic.

Services for Mr. Moser are private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is honored to serve the family.
