Robert L. Myers

YORK- Robert L. Myers, 71, of W. Manchester Twp., died, Saturday, January 6, 2007 at his residence. He was the husband of Mary K. (Lease) Myers. A celebration of life service will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a visitation from 1-2 p.m. Military honors will be by York County Veterans Honor Guard prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Myers was born in York on October 03, 1935, a son of the late Harlan D. and Ethel M. (Sheaffer) Myers. He retired from the York City School District, where he was a school teacher. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in York. He was a member of Zeredatha Lodge #451 F&AM and Harrisburg Consistery-32 Degree. He was a US Army veteran. Along with his wife, he leaves a brother, Henry Myers of York and numerous nieces and nephews.
