Robert C. Brooks

YORK- Robert C. Brooks, 52, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at his residence. A celebration of life tribute service will be 6 p.m. on Friday, August 5, 2011 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with Betty Frey, Certified Celebrant officiating. A viewing will be from 5-6 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Mr. Brooks was born on December 7, 1958 in York, a son of Elaine L. (Massimore) Houck and the late Robert Brooks. Robert worked as an assembler for the Harley Davidson Factory in York. Mr. Brooks is survived by a daughter, Ashley Brenneman and her husband, Eric of Red Lion; two granddaughters, Rylie and Emma Brenneman; his mother, Elaine Houck and her husband, Richard H.; a sister, Deborah Childers and her husband Kevin of Red Lion; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Courtney Brooks.
