Robert B. Ostrowski

KINGSTON-Robert B. Ostrowski, 66, of Kingston, died Wednesday morning at Hospice of the VNA at Heritage House, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Pittston on January 6, 1943, he was the son of the late Joseph Sr. and Amelia (Keivak) Ostrowski. He was a graduate of Pittston Township High School. He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Church, Avoca. A sister, Amelia Miller, and two brothers, Joseph Jr. and Albert J. Ostrowski, preceded him in death. Robert is survived by a son, Robert B. Jr., Wilkes-Barre; four sisters, Shirley Darsky, Jenkins Township; Madelyn Rush, Wilkes-Barre; Joan Orechovsky, Binghamton NY; Evelyn Falchek, Plains; several nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 6 to 8PM at Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc. 728 Main Street, Avoca, with a prayer service at 8PM. Father Phillip Sladicka will officiate. Interment will be private in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Moosic.
