Rita B. Zacher

YORK – Rita B. Zacher, 89, formerly of Newtown, CT and a long-time parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church in Newtown, died May 20, 2015 at Normandie Ridge. She is the wife of the late Irving C. Zacher and is survived by two daughters, Carol Rinkoff and Susan Krushenski, four grandchildren, Matt and Evan Rinkoff, Samantha Krushenski, and Andrew Blake; and two great grandchildren. A private Mass will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Interment will be private at Holy Saviour Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
