Ricky Edward Hersh

RED LION- Ricky Edward Hersh, 71, of Windsor Township, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2026 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Sarah B. (Grove) Hersh.

Ricky was born in Seven Valleys on July 22, 1955, the son of the late Robert Earl Hersh and the late Genevieve (Hoover) Hersh. He retired in 2025 from driving for Warners Moving and Storage in Red Lion after being a self-employed truck driver for 35 years.

Along with his wife, Ricky leaves five sons, Eric N. Hersh, Joshua Dolheimer and Randy Dolheimer, Dalton C. Hersh, and Ashton E. Hersh; three daughters, Tanya L. McDowell, Jacqulyn I. Hersh, and Jamie S. Ferguson; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a sibling of Robert, Randy and Rosie.

A celebration of life service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2026 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a viewing from 5:30- 7 p.m. Pastor Bill Jones will be officiating at the service.
