Richard W. Zerby

RENOVO - Richard W. Zerby, 74 of Ransdorf Manor, died Saturday evening, April 30, 2011 at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center. He was born July 15, 1936 in Lock Haven the son of the late Roy C and Amelia G. (Baysore) Zerby. Richard worked for Powers Trucking, Lock Haven and retired after several years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Surviving are two sons; Richard W. Zeke Zerby of Castanea and Harry E. (Jessica) Zerby of McElhattan and nine grandchildren. Also two brothers Chester of Wysock, PA and Harry of McElhattan. Richard was preceded in death by a brother Leroy and a sister Catherine Simparosa. A memorial service will be held 3:00 P.M., Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth Street, Renovo. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society (Clinton Unit), 1948 E. Third Street, Williamsport, PA 17701.
