Richard M. Kline

HARRISBURG – Richard M. Kline, 79, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2026 at The Terraces at Capitol Village in Harrisburg.

Born December 13, 1946, in Reading, he was the son of the late Richard B. Kline and Shirley M. (Lease) Kline. Mr. Kline was a proud U.S. Army veteran. Throughout most of his career, he worked as an electrical engineer for BorgWarner and Burndy.

He was a member of St. Rose of Lima in York. In his free time, he enjoyed working with electronics. He built several electronic devices by hand, including computers shortly after they were first introduced, as well as his own ham radio.

Surviving are his four siblings, Robert Kline and his wife Angela of Dover, Kim Kline and his wife Susan of Oklahoma, Barbara Heiner of Manchester, and Sandra Kline of Dover; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., York, is honored to serve the family.
