Richard Eppley

DOVER – Richard Eppley, 78, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at his home. He was the husband of Paulette (Reynolds) Eppley with whom he has loved and spent the past 50 years.

A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Grace Community Church in the CityView Church Building, 1655 Roosevelt Avenue, York with Pastor Shan D. Cleck officiating. A viewing will be held from 10-11:00 AM Saturday at the Church. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born April 28, 1945 in York, a son of the late Almeda (Miller) Markey and Clay Eppley, he was a graduate of Dallastown Area High School. Mr. Eppley had retired from Tyco Electronics after many years of service. He was a member of Grace Community Church and Shiloh VFW.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Eppley is survived by four sons, Richard E. Eppley of Tower, City, PA, Jeremi R.H. Eppley of Red Lion, Todd R. Farr of Lawrenceville, PA, and Dallas M. Eppley of Erie, PA; four daughters, Brandi D. Potter of Seven Valleys, Jennifer N. Eppley of Florida, Destiny M. Eppley of Dover, and Nevaeh E. Eppley of Dover; seven grandchildren, Christopher and Cheyanne, Kyle and Rebecca, Brianna and Andrew, Jayda and Derek, Wesley and Johanna, Jayce, and Dustin; and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Diamond McKenzi Eppley; a grandson, Kaden Michael Eppley; and a sister, Phyllis McWilliams.
