West Manchester Township- Richard E. Botwright, 67, of York, died, Friday, February 20, 2009 in West Manchester Twp. He was the husband of Mary E. (Wilkey) Botwright. Services will be private. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Botwright was born in Altoona on April 25, 1941, a son of the late Charles A. and Lillian (Van Scoyoc) Botwright. He retired from the military as a US Naval Officer who served in the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Penn State University. Along with his wife, Mr. Botwright leaves two sons, Charles A. Botwright of Fairfax, VA and John W. Botwright of Timonium, MD; and two grandchildren, Ethan and Kyle Botwright.
