WILKES-BARRE-Rhea, a friend to all, died Sunday, May 6, 2007 in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Korn Krest, she was a daughter of the late Magnus and Emma (Beyer) Clausen. She was a 1947 graduate of Meyers High School. She was a member of St. Nicholas Church, Wilkes-Barre, a Sister of the 3rd Order of St. Francis, and a member of the German American Club. She was preceded in death by her brother William Beyer, and sister, Magdaline Roper. Surviving is a sister, Albertina Kahley Pennypacker, Pottstown; numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. Nicholas Church, 226 South Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre. Interment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call at the church Thursday morning from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
