BROGUE- Reed E. Shaull, 83 of Chanceford Township, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of Maryann (Howard) Shaull. The couple celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on August 4, 2024.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc, 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a viewing from 9-11 a.m. The Reverend Daniel R. Moore will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Bethel United Methodist Cemetery in Brogue.

Reed was born in Chanceford Township on October 29, 1941, the son of the late Charles and E. Elizabeth (Miller) Shaull. He and his wife purchased their farm as young adults. He ran the farm for many years. After his days of farming, he worked for Red Lion Bus Company, taking charters and tours before retiring after 20 years.

Reed has attended multiple churches over the years. He enjoyed the outdoors including hunting, and riding around his farm on his four-wheeler. He was a pitcher in the St. James fast-pitch softball league as well as in other leagues.

Reed leaves two sons, Bret E. Shaull and his wife Melissa of Red Lion and Wade A. Shaull of Brogue; a daughter, Kelly J. Hoffer of York; a granddaughter, Stacey Robinson and her husband Ethan; two great grandchildren, C. William “Will” and Emily; a sister, Olive Brown; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Erma Eveler and Beulah Strayer and four brothers, Arthur, Carl, Denton, and Glenn, “Farmer”.
