Ray E. Grim

YORK--Ray Eugene Grim, 88, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Seaton Springwood. He was the husband of the late Betty Frances (Price) Grim to whom he was married for 66 years.

A Celebration of Life Tribute will be held 11AM, Saturday October 8, 2022 at Mountain Grove Chapel, 170 Andersontown Rd, Dover. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Osmany B. Espinosa. A visitation will be held from 10:30AM-11:00AM, Saturday at the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements.

Born July 13, 1934 in York, he was a son of the late Harvey S. and Anna S. (Ott) Grim.

He was employed as a forklift operator with Yorktown Papermill for many until his retirement. Mr. Grim was also a member of the Starview Sportsman’s Club.

Mr. Grim is survived by four daughters, Debra A. Hoover and husband, Carroll of Red Lion, Carol M. Writer and husband, Zane of Manchester, Elana L. Spangler and husband Daniel of Dover and Rae-Jean Dorsey of Florida; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Clair Grim and one sister, Mary Rudisill.
