Ray L. Becker

York - Ray L. Becker, 75, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024 at his residence in W. Manchester Twp. He was the husband of Gwendolyn (Woodard) Becker. 

A Celebration of Life Tribute will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements. 

Born November 18, 1949 in Red Lion, he was the son of the late Chester and Virginia (Eisenhour) Becker. 

He was a heavy equipment operator with Kinsley Construction for 28 years until his retirement in 2024. 

In addition to his wife, Mr. Becker is also survived by his daughter, La Rae Paige; three step children, Dion Woodard, Amanda Becker and Michael Becker; six grandchildren, Ashanay Becker, Jarae Becker, Samantha Kahl, Zackarie Woodard, Tiana Woodard and Cuteera Jewel; two great grandchildren, Ryland Kahl and Jeremiah Diaz-Woodard; two sisters, Shirley Kohler and Wanda Hifen and nephew, Jason Kohler, along with other nieces and nephews.
