Paul T. Hamrick, 82, was surrounded by his family when he went home to be with the Lord Jesus, his Savior on April 9, 2026. He was the loving husband of Jill A. (Lindquist) Hamrick who he was married to for the past 59 years.
A Celebration of Paul's life will be held 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc, 1551 Kenneth Road, York, PA 17408 with Pastor Kent Vandervort officiating. Prior to the service there will be a viewing from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Burial will be held 10:00 AM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Thursday, April 16, 2026.
Born September 12, 1943 in Centerville, PA, Paul was the son of the late Richard Perry and Nina Delphia (Moore) Hamrick. After High School, Paul joined the U.S. Marine Corp and proudly served our country from 1962-1966. He then moved from Erie to York, PA and entered the apprentice program to become a carpenter. He joined the Carpenter Local 191 and was a member for the past 56 years. Paul was a dedicated member of Stillmeadow Church of the Nazarene for 25 years. He was also a member of the Shiloh Legion Post 791 for 56 years and the Northern York County Game and Fish Association.
In addition to his beloved wife, Paul is survived by three children, Connie Pendergast, Timothy Hamrick and his wife Denise, and Christy Nobile and her husband Josh; six grandchildren, Andrew Pendergast, Alex Pendergast, Aaron Pendergast, Emilie Hamrick, Ryleigh Nobile, and Chase Hamrick; two great grandchildren, Ada and Clara Eichelberger; three sisters, Louise Elsey, Frances Ford, and Audrey Miket; and several nieces and nephews. Paul is preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn Hamrick, and James Hamrick.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Mission to Mercy, 22 South Market Street, Ste. 6D Frederick, MD 21701 or to the Work and Witness Team with Stillmeadow Church of the Nazarene, 400 Stillmeadow Ln, York, PA 17404.
