Paul E. Slick

HANOVER- Paul E. Slick, 50, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015 at his home. He was the companion of Gina L. (Reck) Kurtz. A Celebration of Life tribute service will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 7 PM at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, with Certified Celebrant Betty Frey officiating. A visitation will be held from 6-7 PM prior to the service. Born December 10, 1964 in York, Paul was a son of the late Albert F. Slick, Jr. and Eva L. (Bollinger) Slick. He worked in the warehouse for Caterpillar. Paul enjoyed working on cars and was a selfless man who would do anything for anyone. He always put others first and loved his family more than all else. Mr. Slick is survived by his companion Gina (Reck) Kurtz of Hanover; two sons, Paul A. Slick and his fiancée Erica of Windsor, and Brian A. Slick and his girlfriend April of York, and a sister, Amy Fix and her fiancée Chris of Dover. Along with his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a brother, Brian Slick, and two sisters, Ella Barnhart and Lori Anne Slick. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 924 N.
