Patrick C. Deller

DALLASTOWN- Patrick C. Deller, 91, died on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Hospice & Community Care, Mt. Joy. He was the husband of the late Louise R. Deller who died on August 19, 2021.


A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Dallastown Union Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Dallastown Legion. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements.


Born on November 12, 1932 in York, he was a son of the late Chauncey F. and Barbara R. (Knadig) Deller. He graduated from York Catholic High School and received his Engineering Degree from Bucknell University. Patrick was an electrical engineer at the Navy Depot in Mechanicsburg until retiring in 2000.


Mr. Deller served our country in the United States Marine Corps for four years. He was a member of the Dallastown Legion Post 605, Victory Athletic Association and Viking Athletic Association.


Mr. Deller is survived by two sons, Michael Deller of Lewes, DE and Thomas Deller and his fiancé Kristen Crosswaite of Naugatuck, CT; two step daughters, Lori Minnich and her companion, Steve Groah of York and Melissa Weiman and her fiancé Eric Lopez of Dallastown; six grandchildren, Jordan Deller, Nathan Deller, Brandon Minnich, Matthew Weiman, Ryan Minnich and Nicholas Weiman; and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters, Mary Deller, Anthony Deller, Rose Deller, Thomas Deller, Jacob Deller, Louise Deller, Vincent Deller, Theresa Deller, Hilda Deller, Edward Deller, Austin Deller and Francis Deller.
