Patricia A. Minnich, 96, of Red Lion; passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy. She was the wife of the late Howard H. Minnich, Jr. with whom she shared 65 years of marriage until his passing on October 14, 2013.
A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 2, 2025, at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 161 N. Main St., Red Lion, with The Rev. Equilla L. Curry and The Residence at Fitz Farm minister, The Rev. Dr. Daniel R. Moore officiating. Private burial will be in Red Lion Cemetery. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements.
Born June 20, 1929 in Doylestown, PA; the eldest daughter of the late Kenneth and Mabel (Doyle) Miller, she was a 1946 graduate of Red Lion Area High School. Following high school, Mrs. Minnich worked for a short period of time as a beautician in York. The majority of her life was spent raising her children and assisting Mr. Minnich with his electrical business. She was a life member of St. Johns UCC where she served on numerous committees; the Order of Eastern Star, the Colonial Knitters Guild and the Red Lion Garden club. Mrs. Minnich enjoyed reading, playing bridge and entertaining her family and friends.
Mrs. Minnich is survived by a daughter, Kathleen M. and husband Thomas Corl of Salisbury Mills, NY; two grandchildren, Dr. Keith and wife Alexandra Corl and Christine Corl; four great grandchildren, Scarlett, Miles, and Atticus Corl and Teagan Turner; a brother, David and wife Brenda Miller of Red Lion; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Keith H. Minnich; a brother, Robert Miller; and two sisters, Diane Oberdorf and Vivian Kessler.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s UCC, 161 N. Main St., Red Lion, PA 17356 or to the food pantry at Community REACH, Inc., 15 1st Ave., Red Lion, PA 17356.
She will be remembered as a woman of faith who loved her family and friends beyond measure.
