Patricia K. (Koch) Strayer

Red Lion—Patricia K. (Koch) Strayer, 81, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Dallastown Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late James R. Strayer. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2PM, Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with her pastor, the Rev. Ronald L. Doverspike. A viewing will be held from 1-2PM, Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Red Lion Cemetery. Born May7, 1935 in Red Lion, she was a daughter of the late Truman A. and Hildred L. (Seitz) Koch. She was the bookkeeper at Andrew’s House of Paper, a business her husband owned for many years. Previously she worked at Red Lion Cabinet Company. A member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Red Lion, she was also part the church’s Four Fold Friends Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Red Lion American Legion-Post 543 Ladies Auxiliary and the 8/40 Salon 487. She is survived by two daughters, Amy S. Ducharme and husband, Stephen of York and Stacy S. Myers and husband, Ray of Windsor; one son, James K. Strayer and wife, Susan of Lock Haven; 5 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and 3 nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dee. K.
