SEVEN VALLEYS – Patricia J. (Olphin) Hoerr, 86, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at her home. She was the wife of John D. Hoerr, Sr. to whom she was married for 68 years. A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, August 8, 2022 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. Viewings will be held from 2-5:00 PM Sunday and 10-11:00 AM Monday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dallastown Union Cemetery. Born October 10, 1935 in Dallastown, a daughter of the late Elwood and Helen (Grim) Olphin, she was a 1953 graduate of Dallastown Area High School. Mrs. Hoerr was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church and spent many years working alongside her husband John in his many businesses; John’s Antenna Service in Dallastown, Red Lion Carpet, 74S. Auto, along with running her own business, The Fitness Factory in Red Lion. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hoerr is survived by two daughters, Judy A. and husband Michael Sterner of Seven Valleys and Jeri B. and husband Lonnie Dettinger of Dallastown; two sons, James M. and wife Judy Hoerr of Airville and Daniel S. Hoerr and his girlfriend Christine Emma of Windsor; eight grandchildren, Travis, Jen, Matt, Jonathan, Jordan, Britt, Caity, and Micah; nine great grandchildren, Gretta, Ty, Sarah, Eric, Jacob, Jackson, Scarlett, Emmett, and Jaxson; a close family friend, Lester Witmer of Red Lion; and a daughter in law, Chris Hoerr of Red Lion.
