YORK- Patricia Emma (Myers) Dircks, 89, died on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at SpiriTrust Lutheran, The Village at Sprenkle Drive. She was the wife of the late Edward C. Dircks who died on May 1, 2024. The couple wed on November 2, 1957.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 315 N. Constitution Ave., New Freedom with the Reverend Norbert Suresh officiating. Visitations will be on Thursday, March 5th from 5-8 p.m. at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion and on Friday from 11-11:45 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral mass. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Born on May 4, 1936 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Frederick S. and Lena (Tremper) Myers. Patricia was a homemaker.
Mrs. Dircks was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Freedom. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, reading scriptures on her daily calendar and listening to Bible narrations on YouTube. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family.
Patricia is survived by her children, Carmen L. Lighty and her husband, Mark G. of Cross Roads, Edward F. Dircks and his wife, Cira M. of Cross Roads, Gregory S. Dircks and his wife, Lisa A. of Cross Roads, Warren T. Dircks and his wife, Cathy of Glen Rock and Deanna L. Place of York County; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and brother, Norbert Myers of White Marsh. MD. She was preceded in death by her son, Alan N. Dircks; grandson, Joel T. Dircks; two great granddaughters, Somer Dircks and Hope Muilwyck; and two brothers, Ted Myers and Eugene Myers.
