Ottilie D. Grim

YORK - Ottilie D. (Jones) Grim, 76, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Rest Haven Nursing Home. She was born at York Hospital on November 20, 1946, a daughter of the late Myles O. and A. Geraldine (Flinchbaugh) Jones.

A graduate of Red Lion High School and Gettysburg College, Ottilie lived in Maryland for 35 years, worked as a Human Resources Director, and retired to Pennsylvania in 2005. Ottilie was an avid reader and gardener and loved spending time with family. She also enjoyed volunteering in several ways at SpiritTrust Lutheran and Grace Lutheran Church.

Ottilie is survived by a son, Theron Grim and his wife Amy; and a daughter, Alaina Grim. She also leaves two grandchildren, Myles and Maggie Grim; one sister, Danita Hanna; and nephew and niece, Hunter and Taylor Jones.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Grace Lutheran Church, 220 North Charles Street, Red Lion with her pastor, The Rev. Debbie Mahady officiating. A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM prior to the service. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements.
