Norma Jean Schrum

Loganville - With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Norma Jean (Jamison) Schrum of Loganville, who died peacefully on July 14th, 2025 at the age of 88.

Born January 3rd, 1937, she was the wife of Larry E. Schrum since 1957. Additionally, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Mary (Gibney) Jamison of Gatchellville.

Norma was a graduate of Kennard-Dale High School in Fawn Grove, class of 1955 and a longtime member of the Prospect Church in Fawn Grove (New Park) PA, where she was also a member of the Prospect Women’s Society.

Norma was a dedicated associate of BonTon Dept. Store for 24 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed the beach, traveling out west, playing cards, listening to her favorite music and spending time with her dog, Skeeter.

She is survived by her husband, Larry; daughter, Vickie (husband Dominic) Mone; son, Kevin (wife Kim) Schrum; 4 grandchildren, Sarah, Erin, Chris and Eric (wife Larissa); 7 great-grandsons and 1 great-granddaughter. Norma is also survived by her sister, Lavina Wolfe. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Leona Bankert and Anna Brooks, and brother, Albert (Jim) Jamison.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00A.M., Friday, July 18th at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. Officiating the service will be Pastor Krystal Woods. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00PM, Thursday, July 17th and from 10:00 – 11:00AM, Friday, July 18th at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
