Ngoc Lan Nguyen

Mrs. Ngoc Lan Nguyen, 78, of York, passed away Monday, April 6, 2026, at her residence in West Manchester Township. She was the wife of Hung Huu Nguyen, to whom she was married for 56 years.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2935 Kingston Rd, York. A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Saturday at the church. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York, is honored to serve the family.

She was born on November 24, 1947, in Pakse, Laos, and was the daughter of the late Thuc Van Nguyen and Thuoc Thi Nguyen.

She was a proud and dedicated entrepreneur who owned and operated her own beauty salon in Philadelphia for many years.

Her greatest joy in life was caring for her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply. Gifted in creating beautiful artificial flower arrangements, she also took pride in dressing elegantly and always presenting herself at her very best. She was also a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Vietnamese community and was part of the Vietnamese choir for many years.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Nguyen is survived by four sons, Hieu Nguyen, Trung Nguyen, Nghia Nguyen, and Tin Nguyen; eleven grandchildren; one brother; four sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two elder brothers.
