Born March 25, 1950, in Baltimore, MD, Nancy was a daughter of the late Charles W., Sr. and Lillian B. (Snoops) Moxley. She was a 1968 graduate of Severna Park High School in Severna Park, MD. For most of her working life, Nancy worked in the food service industry at various restaurants and grocery stores. Outside of her hard work, she enjoyed painting ceramics in her younger years and loved visiting horse tracks to watch the races. Growing up, Nancy had several horses, which helped foster her lifelong love of animals.
Nancy was a passionate animal lover who was especially fond of dogs and birds. Her family also remembers her as a devoted fan of the Baltimore Ravens and the Baltimore Orioles. She loved cooking and always enjoyed treating herself to one of her favorite foods—steamed crabs. Above all, Nancy cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved watching them in their sporting events, karate, and dance.
Surviving are her two children, Bernard B. “Brooks” Thompson and his wife Lesa of Windsor, and Kelli A. Geppi and her husband Kevin of Seven Valleys; six grandchildren, Scott Geppi, Kristofer Parker, David Geppi, Destyne Napier, Isaac Thompson, and Tori Thompson; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Charles W. Moxley, Jr. of FL. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband and her sister, Pamela Mosher.
Memorial contributions in Nancy’s honor can be made to ASPCA - American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals at www.aspca.org or ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929.
