Nancy J. Malec

YORK- Nancy J. [Dick] Malec, 79, died Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Henry M. "Hank" Malec. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, June 23, 2008 at Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York, with her Pastor, The Rev. David Taualofai officiating. A viewing will be held from 6-8:00 PM Sunday and from 9-10:00 AM Monday at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Born December 9, 1928 in York, a daughter of the late Percy E. and Leona R. (Pfleiger) Dick, she was retired from Bon-Ton Department Stores. Mrs. Malec was a life member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Pleasureville American Legion, Post 799. Mrs. Malec is survived by two sons, Thomas A. Malec of Arlington, VA and Frank T. Malec of York; a daughter, Marsha A. Malec of Chandler, OK; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Rodney E. Dick of Virginia Beach, VA and Donald N. Dick of New Oxford; and nieces and nephews.
