Myrtle L. Windon

WINDSOR- Myrtle L. Windon, 65 of Windsor Township, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023.

Miss Windon was born in York on June 10, 1957, the daughter of Betty Sue (Carter) Windon of Fawn Grove, and the late Clarence Edward Windon, Sr. She retired from Fypon in Stewartstown where she had worked for over 25 years. After retiring, she worked at York Hospital in the housekeeping department.

Along with her mother, Myrtle leaves two daughters, Christina I. Enfield of York and Bobbie L. Harget of Windsor; four grandchildren, Josh, Katie, and Dylan Enfield and Mason Harget ; and five great grandchildren, Connor, Matthew, Jenson, Kelbie, and Harper and two sons in-law: Dana Enfield and Jeremy Harget. She also leaves four sisters, Bernice Windon, Hope Pappas, Lisa Windon, and Naomi Carter; two brothers, Donnie Windon and Donnie Ray Windon; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence “Jr.” Windon, Jr. and her companion of 30 years, Robert S. Yale.  Miss Windon enjoyed spending time with her daughters, grandchildren and other family members.
