Myrtle F. (Danner) Baer

RED LION – Myrtle F. (Danner) Baer, 92, passed away Monday, August 10, 2015 at York Hospital. Funeral services will be private. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born October 30, 1922 in Cly, York Co. a daughter of the late John E. and Charlotte M. (Miller) Danner, she had co-owned and cooked at Gross’s Café in York. Myrtle had also worked at Bon-Ton and York Co. Area Agency on Aging. She will be remembered as a great cook. Mrs. Baer is survived by two daughters, Susan G. Beard of Yoe and Marie A. Winters of York; a son, Walter Malehorn of York Haven; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth C. Fetrow.
