Myra D. (LeRendu) Holler

Myra D. (LeRendu) Holler, 63, of York, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025 at UPMC Harrisburg. She was the wife of Lloyd Victor Holler with whom she celebrated 42 years of marriage on May 6, 2025.

A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with Pastor Randy Mosher officiating. A viewing will be held from 10-12:00 Noon Thursday at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

Born July 1, 1961 in Baltimore County, MD; a daughter of the late Joan A. (Schaeffer) and Raymond R. LeRendu, Sr. Myra was a 1979 graduate of York County Vo-Tech. Myra had a gift and enjoyed working with youth and adults with intellectual disabilities. She enjoyed her work at Bell Socialization Services and as a Teacher’s Assistant at Lincoln Intermediate Unit #12. Myra was active with East to West Women’s Credo and enjoyed their many retreats. As a woman with many talents, Myra held a Black Belt in Taekwondo and Shotokan and was an International Champion in karate. In 1989, she and her husband Vic were crowned Jr. Olympic National Champions in Dance Roller Skating. Myra dedicated her life as a caregiver to friends, family, and her beloved Shih Tzu’s and cats. Her mantra was “I love Jesus and I want you to love Him too”. She had formerly attended Calvary Chapel in Hagerstown, MD and was a member of First Christian Church in Everett, PA.

In addition to her husband, Myra is survived by a brother, Raymond R. LeRendu, Jr. of York; a sister, Deborah Lynn Meyers of DE; nieces; nephews; and brothers-in-law, David and wife Penney Holler of East Berlin and Kent and wife Chris Holler of Walnut Bottom, PA.
