Miriam L. (Mcquillen) Adams

YORK - Miriam L. (McQuillen) Adams, 88, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009 at Rest Haven - York. She was the wife of the late James R. Adams. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at a later date. Private burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Johnstown. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born May 31, 1920 in Portage, Cambria Co., a daughter of the late John R. and Nell (Walker) McQuillen, she is survived by a daughter, Carol A. Moss of York; a son, John R. and wife Lynn Adams of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Ed Moss III, Donna "Dee Dee" Moss, Kimberly and husband Andy Washington, Tim Adams, and Daniel Adams; six great grandchildren, Miranda and Bruce Bowersox, Zachary, Cody, and Camryn Moss, and Desiree Adams; two brothers, John R. McQuillen of York and William R. McQuillen of Macungie, PA; two sisters, Dotty L. Golden Ronan of York and Kay N. and husband Ralph Matunis of York; and nieces and nephews.
