Michele D. Campbell

RED LION – Michele D. (Keene) Campbell, 74, passed away Friday, February 10, 2023 at York Hospital.

A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion.

Born December 22, 1948 in Baltimore, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary M. (Prevost) Keene, she was a 1966 graduate of Parkville High School in Maryland and attended Towson State University. Ms. Campbell was an Executive Administrative Assistant at AAI in Hunt Valley, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and the Maryland Farm Bureau. Michele was an avid dog lover, enjoyed collecting jewelry, and at one time owned a vintage shop in Baltimore.

Ms. Campbell is survived by a daughter, Kimberly M. Murphy and her husband, Michael of York; two grandchildren, Adrianna and Clayton Murphy; a brother, Kevin Keene and his family; a sister-in-law, Mary Keene of Stewartstown; a nephew, Brandon Keene of MD; and a cousin, Ann Marie Prevost and family of New York. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bernard “Buddy” Keene; and uncle, Alphonse Prevost.
