Michael W. Emig

RED LION- Michael W. Emig, 49, formerly of Laurelton, died Sunday, July 31, 2011 at his residence. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 10-11 a.m. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery in York. Michael was born in York on February 28, 1962, a son of Lucille V. (Hilker) Emig of West York and the late Gary W. Emig, Sr. He was a resident of Shadowfax Corporation where he also worked. Along with his mother, Mike leaves a brother, Gary W. Emig, Jr. of West York; three sisters, Suzette E. Smith of Windsor, Candace L. Hileman and her husband Pete of Inwood, WV, and Lisa M. Miller and her husband David of Red Lion; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Tammy L. Emig.
