Michael A. Shaffer

Michael A. Shaffer, 45, of Pottsville, formerly of Lewisberry; passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026 as a result of injuries sustained in an automotive accident.

Michael was born on December 9, 1980 in York, a son of Shirley J. Shaffer of Lewisberry and the late Barry L. Moody, Jr. He was a graduate of Northern High School and had worked for various contractors in York County. 

In addition to his mother, Michael is survived by a son, Ethan Sweeney; and his sister, Angel M. Shaffer of Lewisberry.
