YORK—Melissa L. (Simmons) Lese, 50, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022 at her residence in York Township. She was the wife of Gregory H. Lese to whom she was married for 23 years. A Celebration of Life Tribute will be 11AM Friday, September 2, 2022 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 397 Tyler Run Rd., York, Pa 17403. Officiating will be Certified Celebrant Debe Snyder. A visitation will be held immediately following the Tribute Service. Melissa’s Tribute Service will also be webcast live on her obituary page at www.HeffnerCare.com. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements. Born January 8, 1972 in Cheverly, Maryland, she was a daughter of Kenneth C. Simmons of Wiconisco and Patricia (DelRosso) Simmons of York. She was employed with OSS Health as a marketing manager. A devoted mother, she never missed her daughter’s sporting events and was an enthusiastic soccer mom. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, playing tennis, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. Melissa is also survived by her daughters, Jordan F., Aidan P. and Morgan C. Lese and many other family members and close friends.
