Maxine F. Schenck

YORK - Maxine F. (Naughton) Schenck, 87, passed away Saturday evening, December 27, 2008, at York Hospital following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert V. Schenck, Sr., who passed away December 30, 1999. A private family tribute service celebrating Mrs. Schenck's life will be held at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Mrs. Schenck was born July 19, 1921, in Renovo, Clinton County. She was the daughter of the late James L. and Agnes M. (Jones) Naughton. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a secretary in the personnel department of Harley-Davidson of York and at Jerry Goldberg & Associates. Mrs. Schenck is survived by her three children, Dr. Linda R. Matesevac and her husband, Thomas of York, Robert V. Schenck, Jr. of York, and Debra A. Euculano of Fayetteville, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Carrie Matesevac Collins, Ellen Matesevac Molina, and Anthony Euculano; and three great-grandchildren, Andres Molina, Vivian Collins, and Mitchell Collins.
