Maude E. (Brown) Derr

MILTON - Maude E. (Brown) Derr, 87, died Friday, December 31, 2015 at the Milton Nursing and Rehab Center, Milton. She was born on August 29, 1928 and was the daughter of the late J. Preston and Florence (Henninger) Brown. On March 03, 1947 Maude married the late Charles E. Derr and they celebrated 52 years of marriage together until his death on May 27, 1997. She was a graduate of the Milton High School Class of 1946. Maude and her husband owned and operated the O.K. Beverage of Allenwood for 12 years and she retired in 1998. Maude was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Milton and she enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, crafts and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by one sister-in-law; Kay Brown of Milton, one half brother; Gerald Buck of Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Maude was preceded in death by two brothers; Charles and Donald Brown. A graveside service will be held 10:30a.m., Wednesday, January 06, 2016 at Twin Hills Memorial Park, Montoursville with the Reverend James H. Fladland officiating.
