Mary J. (Tracey) Miller

Mary Jane (Tracey) Miller, 91, of Red Lion, passed away Monday, January 19, 2026 at SpiriTrust Lutheran, The Village at Utz Terrace. She was preceded in death by her husband Maynard L. Miller.

Mary was born on September 19, 1934, in York, a daughter of the late Esther May (Harrison) Welty Frey and Elmer L. Welty. She devoted her life to her family as a stay-at-home mother to her two daughters, Jane and Christine. In her free time, Mary enjoyed sewing and quilting, reading, and tending to her garden. She took particular pleasure in growing flowers, especially irises and yellow roses, which brought her great joy.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her two daughters, Jane E. Miller of Red Lion, and Christine M. Reed and husband George of Mt. Joy; two grandchildren, Alisha Quigley of Red Lion, and Lesley Kopenhaver and husband Stuart of Etters; four great grandchildren, Bentley, Antonella, Grayson, and Madilyn Kopenhaver; and three brothers Harry Welty of Brouge, Luther Welty of Cody, Wyoming, and Elmer Welty, Jr., of York. She is preceded in death by two sisters, Norma Smith, and Pauline Rosenberry.
