Mary E. Mcmillion

RED LION- Mary E. (Redmond) McMillion, 72, of Windsor Twp., passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Leo H. McMillion who passed away on March 17, 2021.

A memorial service will be held at 7pm on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a visitation from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Certified Celebrant Amy Favorito will be officiating at the service.

Mary was born in York on September 13, 1951, a daughter of the late Philip F. and Anna M. (Guyer) Redmond. She retired as a Registered Nurse from Wellspan York Hospital. Prior to that, she had worked for York County 911. She enjoyed gardening and cooking, the autumn season, decorating and being festive for Christmas and especially attending family gatherings.

Mary leaves two step daughters, Wanda Bonnycastle of FL and Amanda McMillion of York; three step-grandchildren, Darren Robinson of York, Aidan Bonnycastle of FL, and Carlos Marrero of York. Also surviving is a brother, Charles Redmond of Felton; and two sisters, Katherine Shenberger of Red Lion and Florence Cunningham and her husband Glenn of Felton. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Phyllis Roller, infant Ruth, and Linda Redmond; and two brothers, Philip F. Redmond, Jr. and Robert T. Redmond.
