Marlin D. Schreffler

YORK- Marlin D. Schreffler, 89, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Bette R. (Adams) Schreffler. The couple celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary on April 12, 2021. Services will be private, with a private interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery in York. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is assisting the family with the arrangements. Mr. Schreffler was born in Trevorton, PA on December 30, 1932, the son of the late Donald M. Schreffler and Amanda S. (Ferster) Lenker. He retired from Precision Components in York. Mr. Schreffler was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in York. He was a member of the Hawk’s Gunning Club and the Shiloh American Legion. He served in the US Army. Along with his wife Bette, he leaves a son, Stanley L. Schreffler and his wife Judy of Arizona; a grandson, Adam Schreffler of Falls Church, VA; and a brother, Leon Schreffler and his wife Jane of Lancaster.
