Marjorie M. (Walters) Fletcher, 83, of Westminster, MD passed away Monday, September 14, 2026 at Concordia at SpiriTrust Utz Terrace in Hanover. She was the wife of the late Joseph T. Fletcher, to whom she was married for 23 years before his passing in 1983.

Born January 26, 1943, in Baltimore, Maryland, Marjorie was the daughter of the late Norman L. and Margaret E. (Kannenberg) Walters. She was a former member of Ascension Lutheran Church, Bethlehem Steltz Church, Mariners Bethel Church, and New Hope Fellowship Church. She was also a member of Sweet Adelines and the Manchester Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

Marjorie loved helping others and volunteered with Delaware Hospice, Dove House Hospice, and Carroll County Hospital as a receptionist. Marjorie enjoyed playing cards at the Westminster Senior Center and will be remembered for her caring heart and dedication to her community.

Mrs. Fletcher is survived by her five children, Joseph N. Fletcher and his wife Linda, Tony W. Fletcher and his wife Sheila, Steve T. Fletcher and his wife Karen, Darlene L. Ensor and her husband Jeff, and Denise M. Rohrbaugh and her fiancé Rick; eleven grandchildren, Shane, Dale “Tommy”, Chey, Jimmy, Joseph, Jeffrey, Meghan, Canaan, Joshua, Chandler, and Jesse; and eleven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, her parents, and her infant sister, Norma Walters.

A Celebration of Life Tribute Service is to be announced at a later date. Burial is private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., York, is honored to serve the family.
