Marion O. (Strausbaugh) Everhart

YORK - Marion O. [Strausbaugh] Everhart, 83, died Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at her residence at Normandie Ridge. She was the wife of the late Dr. Paul H. Everhart, Jr. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with the Chaplain of Normandie Ridge, the Rev. Peter A. Seiler, Jr. officiating. A viewing will be held from 9-11:00 AM Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Born May 27, 1924 in York a daughter of the late Milton and Catherine O. [Lehigh] Strausbaugh, she was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and its Ladies Auxiliary; YWCA Women's Club; Garden Club of Shiloh; and Lincolnway Lions Club, Ladies Auxiliary. She was a former member of Viking Athletic Assoc. and had served as a Girl Scout Leader. Mrs. Everhart is survived by two daughters, Cheryl A. Everhart of York and Susan E. and husband Wayne Caplan of Durango, CO; a son, Stephen M. Everhart of Westhampton, NY; three grandchildren, Austin, Lili, and Dawson Everhart; and a sister, Nancy Shoff of York. She was preceded in death by a sister, and two brothers.
