Marion L. (Jenks) Harrison

YORK - Marion L. [Jenks] Harrison, 89, died Sunday, July 22, 2007 at Normandie Ridge. She was the wife of the late Donald C. Harrison. A celebration of life tribute service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with the Chaplain of Normandie Ridge, the Rev. Peter A. Seiler, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover. A viewing will be from 10-11:00 AM Saturday at the Funeral Home. Born August 10, 1917 in Arlington, Mass., a daughter of the late William and Annabelle [Kilpatrick] Jenks, she worked as a teacher's aid and educator throughout her career. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hanover; Order of Eastern Star; was a Rotary Ann with Rotary International; and enjoyed crafts, roller-skating, and playing pool. Mrs. Harrison is survived by three daughters, Donna Manske of Hilton Head, SC, Gayle Van Dam of Bloomfield Hills, MI, and Pamela Bender of York; nine grandchildren, Fred and Donald Manske, Cindy Akers, Kim Carlson, Kelly Heald, Robert Van Dam, Jack Greene, Laura Hershberger, Betzi Baker; 23 great grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Jenks of N. Palm Beach, FL. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kristin Van Dam.
