Marilyn Y. Henry

RED LION – Marilyn Y. (Fisher) Henry, 80, passed away Friday, November 17, 2023, at her home. She was the wife of Glenn E. Henry with whom she celebrated 64 years of marriage.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Freysville Zion Community Church, 2595 Freysville Road, Red Lion, with her Pastor, Ann B. Overmiller, officiating. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 PM Tuesday at the Church. Burial will be in Freysville Zion Cemetery. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Henry was born on February 20, 1943, in Emporium, PA, a daughter of the late Ralph A. and Carolyn L. (Howlett) Fisher. She had worked at Bendix Corp., Quaker City Paper & Chemical Company, and in retirement enjoyed working part-time at H&R Block. Mrs. Henry was a member of Freysville Zion Community Church.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Henry is survived by three daughters: Yvette E. (Cliff) Engle of Windsor; Whitney J. Henry (Nancy Horvatic) of Westcliffe, CO; and Nicole L. Henry of Minneapolis, MN; two grandchildren, Troy Engle (Jessica) and Serwyn Rogers; four great grandchildren: Molly, Claire, Trae, and Charlotte Engle. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Adam Engle.
