Margo A. (Lehr) Ruth

Margo A. Ruth, 86 of York, PA passed away on May 18, 2025 at Wellspan York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Gerald E. Ruth. Born on February 3, 1939 in York, she was daughter of the late Lucian and Hazel (Warren) Lehr.

Margo is survived by two sons, Scott Ruth of York and Steve Ruth of Marietta, GA; and Grandsons, Max Ruth, Jake Ruth, Luke Ruth and Sam Ruth.

Margo graduated from Central York High School and was a member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church. She worked as a telephone operator, a secretary and homemaker. Margo and her husband Gerry were avid bridge players partnering to become life masters.

A private graveside service will be held at Lichey’s Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements.
