Margaret "Margie" Kapela

YORK – Margaret E. “Margie” Kapela, 68, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023 at her home.

Margie was born April 16, 1955 in Baltimore, a daughter of the late Anna H. (Barton) and Joseph J. Kapela, Jr. She enjoyed participating in Bell Socialization Services events, reading, and completing word search puzzles. Margie particularly loved spending time with her family during their holiday gatherings.

Miss Kapela is survived by her two sisters, Mary Ann and husband Timothy Blessing of Red Lion and Patricia G. Cummins and her life companion James Wagner of Windsor; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her half-brother, William J. Kapela.

Private tribute services and burial will be in Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery, Dundalk, MD. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements.
