Mardella M. (Lentz) Stabile

YORK- Mardella M. (Lentz) Stabile, 81, died Sunday, December 7, 2008 in her residence. She was the wife of Anthony D. Stabile, Sr. with whom she shared 59 years of marriage. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, December 12, 2008 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York, with the Rev. Thomas R. Hoke officiating. Viewings will be held from 6- 8:00 PM Thursday and 9-10:00 AM Friday at the Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Stabile was born October 24, 1927 in New Derry, PA, a daughter to the late Alvin and Anna (Hackman) Lentz. She loved sewing, ceramics, gardening, and playing the keyboard. She also loved being a dedicated Marine Corps. wife. Mrs. Stabile is survived by a daughter M. Antoinette Stabile of York; son Paul E. Stabile of Lutherville, MD; two grandchildren, Tommy and Ryan Stabile; and a sister, Naomi "June" Snider of Greensburg. She is preceded in death by a son, Anthony D. Stabile, Jr.; and two sisters and one brother. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 3417-C Concord Rd., York, PA 17402.
