Mamie Jo (Ragusa) Arvin

Abbottstown—Mamie Jo (Ragusa) Arvin, 85, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2011 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Gilbert L. Arvin to whom she was married for 47 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York, is in charge of arrangements. Born October 20, 1925 in Avella, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Josephine (Spataro) Ragusa. She was a dedicated homemaker for her family. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Arvin is also survived by her son, Rick L. Henry and wife, Joan of York, 3 step-grandchildren, and 6 step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Rose. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, Pa 17603.
