RED LION- Lynette E. Grim, 67, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026 at York Hospital.
Born January 20, 1959 in York, a daughter of the late David A. and Erma E. (Kinard) Grim; she was a 1978 graduate of Red Lion Area Senior High School. She was devoted to her boyfriend of 38 years, Steve Andrews. During her career, she worked as a clerk at First Capital Bank in York. Lynette enjoyed going for walks and watching Days of our Lives and sci-fi movies. She was a fan of Tony Orlando and was part of the Tony’s Troopers fan club. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Red Lion. Lynette was a kind, compassionate, loving and joyful person.
More than anything she loved spending time with her family. Lynette is survived by two brothers, Kevin D. Grim and wife Daphne of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Eric A. Grim of Red Lion; a sister, Kendra J. Darrah of Middletown; nieces and nephews, Michelle Grim, Adam Grim, Sean Darrah and wife Melissa, Kristie Darrah, Dylan Grim, and Gretchen Grim; and two great nephews, Maxwell and Patrick. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law William Darrah.
A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Grace Lutheran Church, 220 N. Charles Street, Red Lion with Pastor Molly Haggerty officiating. A visitation will be held from 10-11:00 AM Friday at the Church. Burial will be in Red Lion Cemetery. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is honored to serve the family.
