Luis Ramirez-Ruiz

LEWISBURG - Luis Ramirez-Ruiz, 70, died Monday, June 5, 2017 at his residence. Luis was born on November 24, 1944 in San Juan, Puerto Rico and was the son of the late Luis M. Ramirez-Vazquez and Asuncion Ruiz-Ramirez. He worked for the Federal Government at the Lewisburg Federal Penitentiary and retired after 20 years in 2013 as a physician’s assistant. Luis was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Milton and he enjoyed traveling, cooking and most of all he enjoyed life in general. He is survived by two sisters; Carmen Ramirez-Ruiz and Asuncion “Sunchi” Ramirez-Ruiz both of Orlando, FL, one aunt; Andrea Ruiz of Orlando, FL and numerous nieces and nephews. Luis was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial mass will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, June 11, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 109 Broadway Street, Milton with Father Francisco Tamburro officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.
