Louise M. (Strope) Carrigan

NEW FREEDOM- Louise M. (Strope) Carrigan, 94, of Shrewsbury Twp., formerly of Zephyrhills, FL, died Friday, May 25, 2007 at Barbara J. Egan Nursing Home. A private burial will be held in Chapel Hill Gardens in Dade City, Florida. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Carrigan was born in Luthers Mills, Bradford County, PA on December 30, 1912, a daughter of the late Ralph and Cora Mary (Carmen) Strope. She retired from GTE Sylvania in Towanda and was a member of Zephyrhills Florida Senior Center and the New Freedom Senior Center. Mrs. Carrigan leaves a son, Michael Carrigan of New Freedom and his wife Lynda, a granddaughter, Michelle Nielson, and two great grandchildren: Maille Nielsen and Michael John Nielsen.
